Bee Canterbury Lavery, was recruited from her
position as of Chief of Protocol in the Administration of Mayor Tom
Bradley to open and manage the United States
Department of State Office of Foreign Missions
for the Southwest United States. She handled all matters related to foreign Consulates and their personnel in preparation for its
becoming a Foreign Service Post. Realizing the need for international
diplomacy and cultural awareness in the global business community, she
established BCL International in 1994.
